When we first started thinking of building this house we heard so many horror stories about builders and building. Your hands on approach to building and attention throughout the process really put us at ease. Since we were not living in Austin during the construction it was very important that we received personal service. I said that I wanted to be "coddled" throughout the process and you did just that.

Building a custom home is a true journey. First you choose a destination for your trip --- your perfect property for your dream home. Then you prepare travel arrangements to get there --- architectural plans. Looking at a map and a package of blueprints both give you direction. However, weather, wrong turns, detours, flat tires, and bumps in the road are all part of a true road trip. Likewise, the many choices, decisions, samples, weather delays, and sub-contractors are also part of your journey.
Eddie and Lou Ann Dick, Travis Creek Homes, will do everything possible to make sure your journey is rewarding. Travis Creek Homes did a complete kitchen remodel in our home in The Hills, TX during the Spring of 2011. We wanted to perform an extensive remodel on a lake home built in the early nineties. Travis Creek Homes put us in touch with their designer and we pulled together a plan. Eddie and Lou Ann worked closely with us throughout the entire remodel. I was most impressed with the attention to detail they exhibited with each phase of the work. We never had to be concerned about our best interest being taken care of. They were also very flexible, as with most remodels a number of changes and additions were made during the construction period. We felt their input and opinions were valuable and added to the quality of the finished product. Construction was finished on time and we could not be more pleased with the results. In fact, the one great thing is that it does not look like a remodel. We heartily recommend Travis Creek to you for any remodel work or new custom home construction. I can not tell you how much we truely enjoyed dealing with Travis Creek Homes. At every stage of building, it was a very enjoyable experience. What impressed my wife and I was the personal attention which Eddie and Lou Ann gave us. After meeting you on the golf course outside our future home we were even more interested in pursuing purchasing our home. We would like to thank and acknowledge the efforts of Eddie and Lou Ann, for their availability and follow-up during the construction, closing, and subsequent move in to our new Travis Creek Home. Your collective responsiveness has proven to be very comforting and beyond what our experience has been with the industry norm. Upon initial viewing of the home, we loved the design and layout, the setting on the lot, the use of materials, the coordination of colors and finishes. The quality and workmanship has proven to be most satisfying, and my wife and I have had numerous discussions about the fact that this is the most enjoyable home we've ever owned (note:after moving literally around the world, this is our 13th home!). And Eddie literally saved the party. Having him personally come to our home to investigate and rectify a clog in a shower fill just prior to house guests arriving to enjoy a weekend of viewing the FedEx golf championship in the back yard, was above the call of duty. Thanks to Eddie and LuAnn for a pleasant experience with our new home. I know that others will enjoy the satisfaction of the process-- from concept to commissioning of your product-- as rewarding as the experience is living in the home.
